Jenny Carter

Jenny has had a passion for ballet and dance from the age of 5 years old when she started to attend ballet classes to develop strength and muscle tone after she accidentally broke her leg.

After graduating in the arts at Cardiff Met, Jenny worked in a range of administrative roles in creative environments, ranging from architects to design agencies, and was Administration Officer for India Dance Wales before joining Ballet Cymru in 2011.

Her role as Administrator includes financial management, HR systems, studio hire bookings and supporting the Artistic Directors in the company operations and projects.

Jenny is also keen to help Ballet Cymru to become more sustainable and eco-friendly, focussing on renewable energy and other ‘Green’ initiatives to reduce the organisation’s carbon footprint, combined with her own personal passion for vintage clothing and recycling.
