Dancer
Born in Cardiff and a fluent Welsh speaker, Gwenllian trained at Elmhurst Ballet School from the age of 11. Throughout her training she took part in Ballet Cymru’s summer dance programmes and upon graduation in 2016 joined Ballet Cymru, performing in Romeo and Juliet and Little Red Riding Hood.
In 2018 she joined as corp de ballet for Baltic Opera Ballet in Gdańsk, Poland, advancing to coryphée and soloist positions. Here she performed multiple soloist roles of Giselle, Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara (Nutcracker), Offering (Rite of Spring) amongst others.
This year she rejoins Ballet Cymru for her third season.
