Ballet Cymru established its current home on the Wern Trading Estate, Rogerstone in 2015 as a base for the company’s rehearsals and training programmes. Ten years on, and thanks to successful capital funding applications, significant refurbishment works have resulted in two spacious purpose-built dance studios, office facilities and dedicated storage -- including storage for the extraordinary collection of beautiful costumes created over the charity’s 44-year history.
Now, we are ready for the next leap – onto our own stage.
Our vision is to open our building to the community as a fully equipped cultural venue for performances, events and creative activity.
This year’s Festive Fundraiser marks the official launch of the campaign to make this vision a reality, as Ballet Cymru continues its unique journey to becoming a national ballet company for Wales.
Ballet Cymru’s ground floor studios are fully accessible, and complimentary refreshments will be offered on arrival. Please contact us if you have any special dietary requirements or access needs.
There is a large, free car park and more parking is available nearby on the Trading Estate. We encourage you to use public transport, walk or car share to our dance studios if you possibly can.
