Ballet Cymru would like to make a positive contribution to the problems facing mental health in Wales. We are doing this by helping to increase awareness, and with a mental health focus in our outreach work.
The professional dancers and outreach team received Mental Health First Aid Training from Newport MIND to deliver outreach work that supportsawareness of mental health.
Ballet Cymru will collaborate with Newport MIND over the next 5 years to deliver dance projects and produce video trailers to deliver MIND’s positive Mental Health message.
We will also be running mental health outreach work in other areas in Wales where MIND charities are based.
