We’re Hiring! Company Driver

We are looking for a Company Driver, to help transport our upcoming tour of Giselle.

Salary: £551 Per Week

Pension: Optional Company pension scheme

Holiday Entitlement: 5 days, within the contracted period

Location: Ballet Cymru, Newport, NP10 9FQ

Term:  Fixed Term; unsocial work hours will be required

43 hours a week averaged across the contract period, 6 Day working week.

Benefits and entitlements:  Accommodation and £31 Per Diems provided for overnight stays away from Newport.

Discretionary Relocation Allowance of £75 per week for duration of project, plus discretionary allowances.

Job Requirements

  • Take the lead driving the company minibus
  • Monitor and manage the company minibus, ensuring proper maintenance, safety, and compliance with government regulations
  • Manage and plan all travel routes and leave times for all the minibuses travels
  • Manage, maintain and document the minibuses pretty cash float
  • Attend production meetings as necessary
  • To undertake any delegated tasks for the production as directed by the company
  • A positive attitude to finding solutions to problems
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure
  • The ability to think creatively
  • Enthusiastic/energetic personality.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Professional Driving Experience
  • PCV (D1) License
  • Clean Driving License, over 25, held for more than 2 years
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Welsh language speaker / writer
  • CPC License
  • Theatre experience
  • First Aid Training
