Alex Wharton is an award-winning writer and performer of poetry for adults and children. His First Book of poetry for children, Daydreams and Jellybeans, was shortlisted for the Wales Book of The Year Award 2022, The North Somerset Teacher’s Book Awards, The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards and was named as a National Poetry Day Recommended Read.
This sparkling dance production showcases the talents of Alex Wharton himself, reading, rapping, and rhyming his way through mischievous adventures, melancholy musings, and Jellybean drama.
An outstanding ballet aimed at the young and young at heart with breathtaking dancers and music from international composer Frank Moon.
Performances include live integrated BSL English interpretation.
Ballet Cymru is delighted to announce that participants of Ballet Cymru’s BALLET CYMRU 3 (BC3) programme will be performing in the foyer at the start of the evening performance on Wednesday 18th December.
