Applications now open for Ballet Cymru Summer School 2023!

Applications now open for Ballet Cymru’s Wales Summer Dance intensives and the Wales International Ballet Summer School!

We welcome you to join us this summer at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport. We have a range of ballet courses to suit young beginners right up to professional level, and our inclusive course offers a fun and creative dance experience. All courses will be led by company dancers, directors or guest teachers and each week will end with a performance on the main stage which is free to attend.

Wales International Ballet Summer School gives graduate and professional dancers an insight into Ballet Cymru as a company and the values and qualities we aim to achieve.

Check out our Wales Summer Dance and Wales International Ballet Summer School (WIBSS) pages for more information and application forms.

We hope to enjoy this summer dancing with you!

“Thank you so much for such an amazing week, I have loved every minute and learnt so much that I will take away with me. … I really am grateful to have been able to participate in what has been such a fun and challenging week!”
