Sanea Singh

Sanea was born and raised in India. She performed, taught and toured internationally with Shiamak Davar International based in Mumbai for 4 years. She then moved to the UK to study dance at ‘The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts’ (LIPA) in 2014, going on to complete her training in 2017 and moving on to the PEER Programme at Studio Wayne McGregor in London. It was here she had the opportunity to further assist dancers from Company Wayne McGregor at various workshops during their 2017 tour of India.

Following the PEER Programme, Sanea joined the JV2 Professional Development Diploma in 2018, where she worked with choreographers David Llyod, Maria Doulgeri and Jasmin Vardimon for their 2019 national tour of the UK. Shortly after completing the JV2 programme, Sanea became an education facilitator for the Jasmin Vardimon Company. She has since worked with Mischief Company, Alexander Whitley and ZooNation; as a dancer in the upcoming feature film ‘Everybody’s Talking about Jamie’.

Sanea was also Rehearsal Director for the recreation of the piece ‘Neverland’ for the post graduate company ‘The Collective’ at Dance City, Newcastle.

As a dancer, Sanea enjoys integrating her versatile dance background to create new refreshing movement ideas that can challenge and inspire audiences.
