

Dancer
Kotone is originally from Nagoya, Japan where she started her ballet training from the age of 3, then she went on to train at Central School of Ballet from 2018 to 2021. By the age of 18, she was a member of Ballet Central tour 2021 and performed Glunare and Odalisque in Le Corsaire Act 1 choreographed by Christopher Marney; as Duet in ‘Jigsaw’ by Charlotte Edmonds, and danced in Highland Fling Act 2 by Matthew Bourne. Kotone graduated from the Central school of Ballet with BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance from the University of Kent.
In September of 2021, she gained an opportunity to stand on the big stage for West End live 2021 which choreographed by Christopher Marney with The London Cabaret Club.
Also in 2021 Kotone joined Northern Ballet’s Graduate Program and was taught by Yoko Ichino and Nicola Smart. She gained performance opportunities as Franny the Frog and Camden the cat in Northern Ballet’s production ‘Pinocchio’, choreographed by Gavin McCaih.
In April 2022 Kotone joined Ballet Cymru in her first professional dancer role as Helena in ‘Dream’.
