Jethro Paine

Jethro grew up in the Balkans, where his dance training began aged six at the Sarajevo National Theatre. He went on to train at the Royal Ballet School and, at the age of 18, moved to the United States to join Boston Ballet II. An injury meant that he had to return home in early 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jethro recently completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in dance studies (first class honours) and is currently studying part time for a masters in social and cultural anthropology. Having worked with Ballet Cymru in 2021, he is excited to be back in Wales in 2022 and performing with the company!
