Caitlin started her ballet training at the age of 10 at The Barinowsky School of Ballet in Cardiff. Her journey with Ballet Cymru began in 2012 where she attended the company’s Associate programme for four years. She also took part in Ballet Cymru’s Summer Dance programmes and performed at the Riverfront Theatre, Newport.
In 2017 Caitlin trained in ballet, contemporary and jazz at Ballet West Scotland, where she gained experience performing full length ballets across Scotland and internationally. Caitlin performed in the premiere of Swan Lake in Genting, Malaysia with the Ballet West International Touring Company. Whilst at Ballet West Caitlin was selected to attend the prestigious Genee International Ballet Competition 2019 in Canada and was one of only 12 finalists selected to perform at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, Toronto. She graduated in 2020 with a BA (First-Class Honours) Degree in Ballet.
Caitlin joined the Ballet Cymru Pre Professional programme in 2021, enabling her to further her training whilst having the opportunity to perform alongside the company in their autumn tour of Giselle. She joined the company as a professional dancer in spring 2022.
